Busby SEO Test is a Search Engine Optimisation World Cup setup by Busby Web Solutions. It is an SEO Contest for SEO specialists, guru’s, masters and hot shots to compete over a 4 month period to gain the highest position they can achieve on Google (USA Google Data Center - http://72.14.207.99)

The second version the the Busby SEO contest just started yesterday and the new keyword to optimize is BUSBY SEO TEST. With just 1 day after the keyword was announced, GOOGLE SERPS are already showing an outstanding number of the Busby SEO Test contest. If it was tough to win during the 1st World Cup, the competition is way harder now with more contestants joining.
Once again, I’m going to try to join the contest ( I gave up on the first contest as I had lesser time to prepare). Now, I’m Serious, to GOOGLE SERPS we go!

I have not made such drastic updates on the site lately for quite a number of reasons. One reason is that I think with the time it took me to pull off the site, I will not be able to rank high in Google for the keyword, “Busby SEO Challenge”. The competition is getting fiercer as the deadline, which is set on August 31, draws near. Those SEO-freaks at the top of the Google SERP’s are now backbiting each other to the top doing all means possible to rank 1,2 and 3 respectively.
As of now, another SEO Contest (a local SEO Contest for Filipino Bloggers) has just been announced. I will be trying to mix it up with some of the best Filipino “SEO’ers”. With the Busby SEO Challenge drawing near, my chance of winning is becoming thinner. LOL! MORE SEO CONTESTS for us!

The SEO WORLD CUP - Busby SEO Challenge has set some rules for every participant to follow. You may want to consider this first if you have plans in joining the said event.
- Start date is 1st June 2008, 12:00 midday, Perth, Western australia at which point the phrase will be posted on the Busby website.
- End date of 31st august 2008, 12:00 midday, Perth, Western australia.
- Only ethical SEO techniques may be engaged and the judges reserve the right to review the techniques engaged by the winner to ensure they comply.
- No pornography, no discrimination and no illegal behaviour is permitted.
- The competition is only open to domain and sub domain names that do not include the key phrase in any form.
- Only registered entrants are eligible to compete and win the prize. Busby will maintain a list of entrants which can be view on the Entrants list page.
- Registration is free, open to anyone of any age, gender, race and domicile and can only be made through Registration Process.
- Only one prize per person.
- Employees, franchisees and licensees of Busby (and each of their family members) are eligible to enter but are not eligible to win any prizes.
